My Three Tips For Young Entrepreneurs

by Frank Bill Felipe

The following tips are what I’ve found to be helpful for me and my business. They helped me to stay on track in my business especially while being enrolled in school, playing sports, having after-school activities, and a job.

Tip 1: Be excited and/or motivated: Being excited and/or motivated about your business is the first step to success. If you don’t stay dedicated then there is no reason why people would want to support a business if the one that is running the business is uninterested or lacks work ethic.

Tip 2: Dedicated: Dedication is the key to success because time is money and if you lose dedication there's another person out there putting in the work that you're not and using their time wisely.

Tip 3: Spend at least 20 minutes in your business: Believe it or not 20 minutes can make a huge difference in one’s business. If you work for 20 minutes straight use it only for your business without any interruptions, you will see how much you got done and sometimes only if you love what you doing you will lose track of time and find yourself spending more time on your business than what you had set yourself up to do.

When I first joined the WIT Community I had no clue as to how to start a business. I did have prior knowledge from another program I had joined called Young Sharks but, for that program I was totally unprepared. At WIT I had to make a prototype, create a logo, pitch my product, and I was able to get all done during the duration of this program by using these tips.

So please feel free to use these tips because I’ve found them very helpful for me! Thanks for letting me lend you a hand with your business.
