WHY ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
entrepreneurship is the vehicle.
preparing your teen for life is the goal.
Your teen doesn't need to want to become an entrepreneur.
But learning to think like one prepares them for a world that won't stop changing.
At WIT, teens build something real so they can practice solving problems, making decisions, adapting, communicating, and turning ideas into action.

WIT Teens Stand Out
The project might be what they built.
The skills and confidence they gained in the process are what they carry forward.

No. Many teens come to WIT without a business idea—or even knowing exactly what they're interested in yet. WIT helps teens identify problems they care about, explore their interests, and turn those ideas into something real.
They don't need to arrive knowing what they want to build. That's part of the process.
-
A college counselor helps your teen navigate the college admissions process and position the experiences they've already had.
WIT helps your teen create meaningful experiences to draw from in the first place. Through real-world entrepreneurship, teens develop initiative, communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and ownership—skills that can strengthen a college application, but more importantly, prepare them for life beyond it.
We work with a few college counselors that we highly recommend if you need a recommendation.

Not at all. Entrepreneurship is the vehicle WIT uses to help teens learn how to identify problems, create solutions, communicate ideas, take initiative, adapt, and follow through. Your teen may never start a company, but in a world that's constantly changing, knowing how to think like an entrepreneur will serve them wherever they go.
-
It depends on where they are right now. WIT Bootcamp is the place to start, WIT Coaching is for teens ready to develop and launch something meaningful, and WIT Amplify is for teens who have already built something and are ready to get it seen.
