A little background

In 2009, WIT Founder Sarah Hernholm took a bold step beyond the classroom, leaving her teaching career behind to create an organization where youth could turn their ideas into reality.

Inspired by her classroom motto, “Whatever It Takes”, she launched WIT - Whatever It Takes. Since its inception, WIT has worked with over 10,000 students.

WIT continues to empower tweens and teens around the world to launch businesses, non-profits, and passion projects, building confidence, resilience, and leadership along the way.

WIT does this through three core programs:
WIT Bootcamp
WIT Coaching
WIT Amplify

WIT also provides in-person events in partnership with schools and corporations.
